Saudi Arabia will host the first Dragon Ball theme park in History

  • A brand-new Dragon Ball theme park is coming to the Kingdom, so it’s time to get Super Saiyan.
  • The first-ever anime theme park, located within the vast Saudi mega-project and entertainment destination Qiddiya City, would include over 0.5 million square meters and showcase the most memorable storylines, scenes, and characters from the saga.
  • The centerpiece attraction will have 30 rides and five innovative attractions spread across seven separate zones that are based on the seven Dragon Balls.
  • The groundbreaking attraction will be situated 40 kilometers from the capital in Qiddiya metropolis, the first play-focused metropolis in history, which spans 360 kilometers and is dedicated to bringing play’s transformative power to life.

Opening date of the Dragon Ball theme park

  • March 2024 saw the announcement of the theme park. The formal launch date is still unknown, so stay tuned to Time Out for updates.

How does the Dragon Ball theme park measure up?

  • Rides and activities, as well as five cutting-edge attractions, the expansive park will take you on an amazing adventure with Goku and his pals.
  • Prepare to enjoy the exhilarating rollercoaster’s smooth ascent and jaw-dropping plunge, which will allow you to soar around the park like Shenron.
  • The goal of the Dragon Ball theme park is to provide an entirely immersive experience. It will have restaurants providing food inspired by the popular anime as well as themed in-park hotels where you may spend the night.

Qiddiya City

  • One of the most fascinating Saudi megaprojects to arrive in the Kingdom is the play-focused metropolis. The expansive area, which is a part of Saudi Vision 2030, will have a staggering 27 new attractions in addition to 25 new neighborhoods.
  • More than ten theme parks, including the world’s largest and fastest rollercoaster at the first Six Flags in the Kingdom, will be located in the city. Additionally, the Prince Mohammad bin Salman Stadium is being built in Qiddiya. It will be located above the Tuwaiq Mountains and seem really futuristic. Not to be overlooked is the Qiddiya circuit, where drivers will be able to accelerate over the mountains.
